About me
Elizabeth Dixon is a 5th year Architectural Engineering Student in the Construction Management option. She decided to study architectural engineering because she had grown up around her father and grandfathers building houses.
During her 3rd and 4th year summers, Elizabeth had two internships. In the summer of 2017, she interned with Johnson, Mirmiran and Thompson in Hunt Vally, Maryland. There she was on a waste water treatment plant and learned valuable lessons about the industry. She also got a lot of exposure to what it is like to work with a large city organization such as that of Baltimore, Maryland.
The summer of 2019 was spent at home in New Jersey with DPR Construction. She traveled to various job sites locally and into New York City. Elizabeth gained great exposure to the construction management industry and got a great amount of hands on work that made her confident to work in the field. Elizabeth will be pursuing full time employment with DPR starting in August of 2019.
Outside of school Elizabeth is involved in her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, as the education chair, educating members about the policies of the chapter. Asides from school involvement, she loves to hang out with friends, cook with her mom, go snowboarding, lay on the beach.
